While dealing with the cliques and struggles of beign the new girl in a strict school, she continues to have visions and eventally learns how to control them, or let them control her, and she enters into a magical realm through them.

My Summary:
To be honest, the cover is what drew me to the book because I just though it was really pretty and a cool title, I wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised! This book is set in a time period that I haven't read many yound adult novels. The strict Victorian society contrasted with the magical elements of the book make it an interesting supernatural story with an elegant twist. There are also many Victorian female sterotypes that can help the reader with the historical context. I will defintely be reading the other books in the series.

WARNING: Violence, death, going against society's norms
