Wicked Lovely
By Melissa Marr

Published by: HarperCollins

Summary:
Aislinn is just a normal a junior in high school who has a masive crush on her best guy friend and tries to survive high school - and she is able to see faeries. They are not the type of we read about in fairy tales - they are mischivious and like to pull pranks on humans. The most important thing for Aislinn to remember is to not let them know she can see them. As if things weren't weird enough for her, Keenan, the Summer Kin, has been following her and is convinced she is meant to be his Summer Queen! He is able to take the form of a human and enrolls in her high school, intent on pursuing her. It doesn't help that he is the perfectly dreamy, chiseled guy that would catch the eye of any high school girl!

My Review:
I found this book to be very similar to Twilight so it might appeal to a lot of young adult readers. There is the appeal of an ordinary girl being caught up in something much bigger than herself. Aislinn has always been able to see faeries, but now she is entangled in their world even further when Keenan falls in love with her. The end was pretty surprising to me so readers will have a good time seeing Aislinn defying many cliches.

WARNING: There is strong language and teen sensuality scattered in the book.
