Summary: Jamie Tessman is not too thrilled about moving from California to Chicago for the summer so her mom can represent the high-profile case of a young girl accused of killing her stepfather. Jamie has to leave her best guy friend/could-have-turned-into-something-more-than-a-friend, Webb. After a bicycle accident caused by simply 'spacing out", Jamie notices she is not always living in the present world, she swears she is hanging out with Webb and comes to the shocking realization that she doesn't really know where she goes during these episodes - or why.

Personal Review: Readers get to go on this chilling journey with Jamie as she has these episodes of blank panic. It was interesting joining Jamie as she tries to piece together what happens during her trances and what causes them.
