When a teen is between 13 and 17, parents can choose to have their children unwound and their body parts will be harvested to another person in need, so technically they never die. Technically. My Review:
This book was brilliant. Shocking, disgusting, and thought-provoking...but brilliant. Shusterman is able to make you really think about the power we have over others' oppurtunity to live.
