The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks
By E. Lockhart
Published by: Hyperion
Summary:
Frankie is in her sophomore year at a well-known prep school and, having overcome her awkward years, just might end up enjoying this school year. Things really begin to look up when Matthew (the most popular guy in school) asks her out and seems to want her to be included in the "in-crowd." The problem? There is a secret society many of the popular guys are hiding and Frankie is determined to scheme, plan, and manipulate to find out what it is!
My Review:
Frankie is a character many will be able to identify with because she is honest, curious, spunky, and doesn't take no for an answer. She is very intelligent and because of this, her interactions with her classmates are witty, clever, and hilarious! The ways Frankie thinks up to trick and manipulate her classmates keep you rooting for her success!
WARNING: Sensuality involving teens and many rebellious plots against teachers and other students
